Google Sign-In and Google Photos Integration

Cloud Canvas allows users to create accounts and sign in using their Google account. When you choose to use Google Sign-In, we may receive certain information from Google, including your Google account identifier, email address, name, profile image, and language preferences, subject to your Google account settings.

Cloud Canvas also offers integration with the Google Photos Picker API. If you choose to connect your Google account and select photos through Google Photos, Cloud Canvas only receives access to the specific media items that you individually select and authorize through Google’s consent process. Cloud Canvas does not access, browse, or search your entire Google Photos library.

Photos selected through Google Photos are used solely to upload, process, resize, optimize, store, and display images on Cloud Canvas devices and applications. Selected images are copied and stored on Cloud Canvas systems hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). File names associated with selected images may be temporarily processed to retrieve and store images, but image metadata such as dates and descriptions are not used for account profiling, and location information is not collected from Google Photos.

Cloud Canvas does not sell Google user data. Cloud Canvas does not use Google user data or Google Photos content for advertising purposes, facial recognition, artificial intelligence model training, machine learning model training, or similar data analysis activities.

Google user data is shared only with service providers that support the operation of Cloud Canvas services, including cloud hosting and storage providers, and only to the extent necessary to provide requested functionality.

Google account information and selected images are retained while a user’s Cloud Canvas account remains active. If a user disconnects Google Photos from Cloud Canvas, Cloud Canvas will no longer access new content from the user’s Google Photos account; however, previously imported images may remain stored within the user’s Cloud Canvas account and available for display. If a user deletes their Cloud Canvas account or submits a valid deletion request, Cloud Canvas will delete stored Google user data and images from its systems in accordance with applicable law and our data retention practices.

Users may request account and data deletion by contacting support@mycloudcanvas.com.

We may share data with trusted service providers such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, and Meta, strictly for the purposes of operating our business, processing payments, marketing, and improving our services. Payments are processed through Shopify Payments or Shop Pay. Payment information is handled securely by these providers and is not stored directly by Cloud Canvas.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
