THE CANVAS

Full color, no compromise

Other reflective displays have always traded color for calm. Muted tones, visible grain. Cloud Canvas keeps the calm and renders your images with high fidelity.

Hanging Made Simple

Three steps. No guesswork. On your wall in minutes.

01

Level

Place the hanging cleat on your wall and use the built-in level to get it perfectly straight.

02

Hang

Nail it in place, lift your frame, and slide it on. It locks in every time.

03

Admire

Step back and take it in. Beautiful art on your wall, exactly where you want it.

Ten inches

Designed to live close

Not a statement piece for a far wall. This is for the bedside table, the shelf, the desk, the kitchen counter—the spaces where you spend quiet time, where proximity to the image is part of the experience.
The App

Set the mood

The free iOS and Android app lets you upload images directly from your phone, schedule changes, and change the picture whenever the moment calls for it.

Slow on purpose

Hours. A day. A week. Cloud Canvas holds one image as long as it deserves. Good art was never meant to scroll past in fifteen seconds.

Cordless by design

The perfect spot for your favorite photo shouldn't be determined by where the outlet is. The removable battery powers Cloud Canvas for up to a full year. When it runs dry, the last image stays on the wall—your display never goes blank.

Present, never demanding

No notifications. No glowing screen. No pressure to interact. In a home full of devices competing for your attention, this one asks nothing of you.

Questions, answered

How is Cloud Canvas different from other digital frames?

Most digital frames take one of two approaches. Some are bright, backlit, and built for slideshows. Others trade the glow for a limited color range and a grainy, muted result. Cloud Canvas does neither. It renders 16 million colors with the visual fidelity of a printed photograph, without a backlight, without a cord, and without a screen competing with the room around it.

Is it backlit? Will it glow on my wall?

No. Cloud Canvas uses a reflective display, which means it does not glow, does not emit blue light, and does not compete visually with the room around it. In the right lighting it looks almost indistinguishable from a framed print. This is intentional.

What does it look like in different lighting conditions?

Cloud Canvas performs best in natural daylight and well-lit rooms, which is where the color depth and tonal range really show. Like a printed photograph, it reflects the light in the room rather than producing its own. In very low light or darkness, the display will be less vivid. We recommend placing it where it will be seen in good ambient light for the best experience.

What size is the frame?

The current Cloud Canvas is a 10-inch frame. It is designed to live close to you: on a nightstand, a shelf, a desk, or a mantle. Larger formats are in development.

What kinds of images look best on Cloud Canvas?

Cloud Canvas rewards images that were made with care. Professional portraits with skin texture, shadow, and tonal depth. Travel photography with rich natural color. Architectural interiors with considered light and negative space. Botanical and still life work. Any image where the original capture was deliberate and high quality.

Chromaburst renders what is there. A high quality image looks extraordinary. A casual phone snapshot will be serviceable but will not show what this display is capable of. If you have photographs you have always wanted to give a proper home, this is where they belong.

Can I display any photo from my phone?

Yes, but the results will vary based on image quality. Photos shot with intention and good lighting will look significantly better than quick candid snapshots. We recommend thinking of Cloud Canvas the way you would think of printing a photograph: not every picture deserves a print, but the ones that do deserve to be seen properly.

What file types are supported?

JPEG and PNG. For best results, upload the highest resolution version of your image available.

What resolution should my images be?

We recommend a minimum of 1080p. Higher resolution images will produce noticeably better results, especially in fine detail and color gradation.

How do I hang it?

Cloud Canvas includes a nail mount with a built-in level. Position the cleat at your desired height, use the level for precision, tap two nails flush, and hang.

Can it sit on a surface instead of hanging?

Yes. An included detachable kickstand lets you prop Cloud Canvas on any flat surface: a shelf, a nightstand, a desk, or a counter. It is designed to work equally well on a wall or on a surface.

How long does the battery last?

One year on a single charge, based on approximately one image change per day. If you update more frequently, battery life will be shorter. The removable battery pack charges separately without requiring you to move the frame, and the last image displayed stays on screen even after the battery fully drains.

What happens when the battery dies?

The last image you had displaying stays on screen indefinitely, even with zero battery remaining. Your wall never goes blank. When you are ready, simply remove the battery pack, charge it, reinsert, and you are back.

Does it need wifi to display an image?

Once an image has been sent to the display, it does not need an active wifi connection to show it. Wifi is required when using the app to upload or change images.

Does the app cost anything?

No. The Cloud Canvas app is free, with no subscription required. Everything is included with the product.

What can I do with the app?

Upload images, change what is displaying, set a rotation timer to cycle through a selection of images, and manage your canvas from anywhere. The app is available for iOS and Android.

Can images rotate automatically?

Yes. You can set a rotation timer in the app to cycle through a curated selection of images. We recommend keeping your rotation to 1 to 3 images per day. Rotating more frequently is possible but will reduce your battery life between charges.

Is there a web version of the app?

Not currently. The Cloud Canvas app is available for iOS and Android mobile devices.

Is Cloud Canvas a good gift?

It is one of the more thoughtful gifts you can give someone who cares about their home. It is premium, personal, and genuinely useful. The box is designed to be kept too: the front has a slot for a printed photo and can be propped up as a display on its own.

What is included in the box?

Cloud Canvas 10-inch display, magnetic outer frame, removable battery pack, nail mount cleat with built-in level, nails, detachable kickstand, and a quick start card.

Can I pre-load images before gifting?

Yes. Create an account, set up the display, and upload the images you'd like the recipient to see from day one. When you gift it, share the account login so they can take over and make it their own — updating images and personalizing their collection whenever they're ready.

What is your return policy?

If Cloud Canvas isn't the right fit, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — no restocking fee. The unit must be in like-new condition with all original packaging and accessories, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Once we receive and inspect your unit, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. To start a return, contact us at support@mycloudcanvas.com.

What does the warranty cover?
